Graduate education and research is an essential mission of the Mechanical Engineering Department; the most critical component of our research program is the students who carry out the theoretical and experimental studies under the guidance of our faculty. Without the dedication and outstanding work of our highly accomplished graduate students much of the valuable and challenging research carried out in the Department of Mechanical Engineering’s diverse laboratories could not take place.
