The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan College invites applicants for a fulltime non-tenure-track position at the visiting assistant professor level, starting as early as Fall 2020. A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. The applicant must be able to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses, focusing primarily in the solid mechanics/machine design/systems engineering fields, and participate in service. Engagement in scholarly activities and industrial experience will be positive attributes but not required for this position.
