Worcester Polytechnic Institute – Tenure-Track Faculty Position Mechanical Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has a tenure-track faculty position in thermal sciences area available at the assistant professor level.  Research areas of interest include but not limited to: liquid/vapor phase change phenomena, transport phenomena in different length scales, energy science and engineering, alternative energy systems, vehicle technologies, and smart building technologies.  The candidate will be expected to develop an active externally funded research program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical engineering.  Candidate is required to have a PhD or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline.
