Faculty positions at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville

The Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee—Knoxville (UTK) has 4 faculty position openings with a start date of August 1, 2023. We are looking for:

1. A full professor in Sustainable and Smart Advanced Manufacturing
2. An assistant professor with expertise in: dynamics, controls and robotics; soft robots, meta-materials, bio-inspired systems, and smart and adaptive materials, and
3. One assistant and one associate professor in computational fluid dynamics with an emphasis on unsteady aerodynamics and aeroelasticity, multi-disciplinary design optimization, and propulsion.
