Position 1: Fluid Mechanics (Assistant Professor) with an emphasis on physics-based machine learning model development or high-fidelity computational techniques, with an emphasis on applications such as renewable energy, aerospace, and/or biological flows. Position 2: Coastal Infrastructure and Energy (Assistant Professor) with emphasis on Tidal, wave, and offshore wind energy systems; renewable energy storage systems; or other areas synergistic with the Blue Economy. The candidate is expected to be collaborative and work with researchers in Lehigh’s Energy Research Center and the newly formed DOE Atlantic Marine Energy Center. Position 3: Robotics (Open Rank) with emphasis on human-robot interaction, wearable robots, and healthcare robots. Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field by the date of hire.
