THE DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AT ROWAN UNIVERSITY invites applications for multiple tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Successful candidates must have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels, develop a nationally recognized externally funded research program, and contribute to the institution and profession through service. Candidates for the Associate Professor position should have an established record of research, teaching, and service commensurate with the higher rank.
A doctorate in mechanical engineering or a closely related field is required for appointment. In addition, excellent written and oral communication skills are expected. Although outstanding candidates in all areas of mechanical engineering will be considered, the preferred areas of research interest and expertise are digital design & manufacturing, multi-physics modeling & simulation, and electronic packaging design.
