The U.S. Naval Academy invites applications for the Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in
Robotics and Control Engineering to begin as early as July 2023 in the Weapons, Robotics, and Control Engineering Department. Review of applications will begin on December 1, 2022 and continue until the position is filled.

The Robotics and Control Engineering major, an ABET accredited 4-year B.S. degree, prepares midshipmen for an increasingly autonomous world. The department faculty, a mix of civilian and military professors, focuses on quality in-person instruction in small undergraduate classes that average no more than twenty students. Engineering labs are equipped with state-of-the-art autonomy and control testbeds, machine vision and robotics platforms, biomechanics instrumentation, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and rapid prototyping tools. A Ph.D. or equivalent in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related STEM fields is required (anticipated completion of Ph.D. no later than June 2023 is acceptable). Cresilon, Inc is a medical device company based out of Brooklyn, NY that focuses on bringing new technologies to the animal health industry that aim to solve problems associated with wound healing. We have created a hemostatic device that can instantly stop traumatic bleeding. Please refer here and here to learn more about Cresilon. This upcoming spring, Cresilon is looking to bring on 11 interns from diverse fields in order for them to gain exposure into the industry. There will be technical and non-technical internships available, which will focus on a specific project. Candidates will be exposed to all aspects of the industry regardless of their placement. 1. Manufacturing (Process and/or Production)
   Job Description: Interns will assist with supply chain logistics, optimization of processes /
   process flows, creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch
   records, and equipment installation and qualification. Opportunities for compensated

2. Research and Development (Formulation and/or Process Development)
   Job Description: Interns will assist with conducting routine research and development on
   the subject of formulation, scale-up, polymer chemistry, rheology, biochemistry, and
   material science. Interns will write up and present findings. Opportunities for compensated
   travel to conferences and other industry-related events exist.
3. Research and Development Mechanical Design
   Job Description: Interns will assist with conducting routine research and development on
   the subject of designing, testing, and improving delivery devices for Cresilon’s suite of
   products. Interns will write up and present findings. Opportunities for compensated travel
   to conferences and other industry-related events exist.
4. Quality Control (Microbiology/Chemistry)
   Job Description: Interns will assist with verifying conformance to in-process specifications
   and proposing and implementing QC assays. This program will involve working with
   aseptic techniques and interfacing with the manufacturing team. Opportunities for

5. Quality Assurance
   Job Description: Interns will assist in establishing the Quality Management System, which
   serves as the backbone of all quality and regulatory requirements at Cresilon. Interns will
   help in maintaining the central document control system, implementing OSHA
   requirements, participating in inspections, and reporting any non-conformances.

6. Regulatory Affairs
   Job Description: Interns will perform research, provide strategic assessments, and use
   primary and secondary research data to analytically support existing and new regulatory
   strategies. Interns will support the submission of a 510(k) application. Opportunities for

7. Business Development
   Job Description: Interns will perform market research, provide strategic assessments, and
   use primary and secondary market research data to analytically support existing and new
   marketing sales strategies,. Opportunities for compensated travel to conferences and other

8. Sales and Marketing
   Job Description: Interns will assist with writing marketing materials, updating social media,
   spearheading presentations and individual campaigns, and will work with sales to set
