Two faculty positions in Robotics at Lawrence Technological University

The A. Leon Linton Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Industrial Engineering at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the field of Robotics Engineering. Candidates are required to hold a PhD degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field by the date of hire. The appointments will begin fall 2023.

Particular areas of interest include, but are not limited to, human-robot interactions, sensing and perception, and aerial robotics. The successful candidate will have a high potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a publication record commensurate with years since PhD obtained, and the ability to establish and conduct independent research.

Priority will be given to applications received before December 31, 2022. Candidates should submit the following: 1) a cover letter indicating the area of specialization, 2) a detailed curriculum vitae, 3) a statement of research interests, 4) a statement of teaching interests and capabilities, 5) the names and contact information for four references. Tenure Track Faculty positions at AFIT

Air Force Institute of Technology located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has two faculty positions in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. (i) Aircraft Structures (ii) Spacecraft Dynamics and Control. These are tenure track positions. US Citizenship is required, but the security clearance can be applied after joining the position. AFIT is an engineering school with MS and Ph.D. students. Our teaching loads are small, with one class per quarter, a total of three courses per year. Also, our class enrollments are small. We have very strong research collaborations with Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) which are in walking distance from our buildings. The department has excellent laboratory facilities.
