The Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee—Knoxville (UTK) has 4 faculty position openings with a start date of August 1, 2023. We are looking for:

1. A full professor in Sustainable and Smart Advanced Manufacturing
2. An assistant professor with expertise in: dynamics, controls and robotics; soft robots, meta-materials, bio-inspired systems, and smart and adaptive materials, and
3. One assistant and one associate professor in computational fluid dynamics with an emphasis on unsteady aerodynamics and aeroelasticity, multi-disciplinary design optimization, and propulsion.

The University of Central Florida’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering plans to hire 10-12 faculty members within the next two years.

The University of Minnesota College of Science & Engineering is hiring 60 new faculty members and UMN ME is part of the growth. We’ll conduct searches for four tenure track positions, the first of which will begin in January 2023. The four tenure track positions will focus on future sustainable manufacturing.
